Our Story

My parents came to see their favorite daughter for Easter...ME :) We usually get to see our parents just twice a year--anytime we have is very treasured! My parents hate the traffic around here, so we always know its a big sacrifice for them to come to Chicago!

We took them to our favorite restaurant--Shabu House. You are given raw meat & veggies and have to cook everything in a pot in front of you. We knew this was unlike any restaurant they had ever been to, but they did GREAT!

We had to put dad to work on our house...he can fix EVERYTHING (we gave him a long list of stuff to do at our house during his visit)....here are Dad and Joel installing a new kitchen faucet

We spent Sat afternoon at the Jelly Belly museum in Wisconsin....its really not worth the trip, unless you just want free Jelly Belly's!


We were so excited to take them to Willow Creek's Easter Service...it was incredible!

Thanks Mom & Dad for coming to see us!! We really wish we could have weekends with you much more often!
