I've picked up a new obsession...a really addicting obsession I always wanted to have, but never had the time for in my life. I've started redoing thrift store finds and am LOVING it!!!
This past weekend's project: a dresser for a future foster baby.....yep, baby...last night's class gave us a little more hope that we may have a foster baby...yes, lots of smiles from Joel & I in class last night.
I purchased a white crib in Chicago and was having a difficult time finding a matching dresser on Craigslist in Pittsburgh, so, instead of paying $400 for a new, white dresser, we paid $60 on Craigslist. A huuuuge thank you to our Chicago friends for giving us a "Craigslist gift
card" at our goodbye party!!

We hauled it home in typical Joel & Amy fashion: on the roof of our Honda Civic tied down with straps. We do this kind of thing ALL the time! I wish I would have taken a picture of it.
We sanded, primed, & painted....I am still covered in paint 3 days later....

I found the cutest little knobs at Michael's last week for just $1.

My head has been swimming with ideas for this room!! I'm sooo excited!!!
