Decorating Our Tree with Memories

I'm big on family traditions. Joel seems to be catching on and enjoying traditions more every year. He has even started making suggestions for our family traditions :)

I want to be a family who has a TON of Christmas traditions. One of our Christmas traditions is to purchase an ornament that describes a significant event in our life from the past 12 months.

A rundown of our first 3 Christmas ornaments:

Kitty joined our family just before our 1st Christmas married

We purchased our first home, (condo) our second year of marriage.

This year, our marathon medals.

I LOVE placing these ornaments on the tree. I cannot wait for 20 years from now when we have an entire tree full of special memories!
