home made soup with bread bowls
lots of candles...i love how i found real field corn for my candles this year :)
even fresh flowers (maybe the 2nd time in our marriage we've had fresh flowers in the house)
pumpkin carving...it's BYOP at our fall party...we had LOTS of pumpkins in our place
home made luminaries (a really easy DIY: just spray paint cans, poke holes, and place a candle inside)
my thrift store lantern (that i really like--this pic doesn't show just how cute it really is)

& lots of new friends (we love that we're at a church w/ lots of people our age & people that are full of friend material for us). We felt pretty maxed out at 20 people in our place, but seriously LOVED filling our home with all of you :)
and adorable little Abby, who spent all night in our baby room playing by herself :)
